Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of Elmren Voice. By buying or using the app you agree to them. Last updated: September 12, 2026.

1. What you are buying

Elmren Voice is downloadable software for macOS 13 or later. A purchase grants you a lifetime, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on one (1) Mac. There is no subscription and no recurring fee. Your license includes updates we publish for Elmren Voice.

2. Voice cloning responsibility

You may only clone voices you own or have explicit permission to use — for example, your own voice, or a family member's voice with their consent. You are responsible for how the voices and audio you generate are used, and you must not use the app to impersonate others or create misleading content.

3. Payments and taxes

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, sales tax and VAT, and issues your receipt. Your license key is delivered by email after purchase. The engine and voice packs are downloaded inside the app.

4. Refunds

Every purchase is covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.

5. Acceptable use

✓Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or your license key.
✓Do not use the app to break the law or violate others' rights, including voice likeness rights.
✓One license covers one Mac; moving to a new Mac is fine — running the license on several Macs at once is not.

6. Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elmren is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions: hello@elmren.com.
